Christmas Card

Yeah - I got my first Christmas card for next year done! Sketchy Thursdays teamed with Jingle Belles for a card challenge.

Here's my take on the challenge:

Supplies: White cardstock, patterned paper - Basic Grey Figgy Pudding

While I was down in the scraproom I thought I'd better get a card going for my parents' wedding anniversary that's this week, so I used the same sketch.

Supplies: White Cardstock, Patterned paper - Close to my Heart, Pearls/Flowers (unknown)

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Don't you love it when you can kill two birds with one stone (or as we call it at our house "do a two-birds") ... love that you were able to make two different cards with the sketch layout ... I love the colors and fun little snowman in your holiday design ... thanks so much for joining our jingle belles journey.

  2. Loving both of your cards.
Your like my SIL making Christmas cards for next year.

  3. now see, *THAT* is what's awesome about diana's (& heidi's!) sketches: you can quite easily make two totally different occasion cards with completely different supplies, and still know they will both be ♥FABULOUS♥ you have so thoroughly proven right here! :) both of these are terrific, but i have to confess to loving the JINGLE BELLES one best ;) mostly since "figgy pudding" is one of the best paper lines EVER, imo! ♥!

  4. Nothing wrong with being inspired by a sketch and getting a two-fer out of it. Your parents should love the card, especially because you made it.

Your Christmas card is really sweet - I love the papers you chose and your snowman motif - perfect together!

  5. Clever girl... two lovely cards with one design. And that's one cute little guy you've got there!!!

  6. Nice both of your cards!

  7. These are FAB!! I loveeeeeee the snowman and pearls! Thanks sooooooooooooooo much for playing along with Sketchy Thursdays and Jingle Belles! :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)
